Eleven Wonders coach Mumuni Gamel has confidence that his team will survive their first Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Techiman-based side will play their first GPL match this coming Sunday, February 11, when they host Hearts of Oak.

Wonders have already have a bumpy start to life in the top flight after being eliminated in the group stage of the GHALCA G8 competition, but Gamel believes they’ll thrive in the league.

“People have been saying that because teams come and go and because of that we have also targeted that we stay and a good position in the league,” Gamel is quoted by Ghanasoccernet.

“I have coached a Premier club before, that is RTU my former club, and I think the experience I have, I have to impact into this new club,” he added.

“So I am sure they [the players] will listen to me and obey what I tell them and when they go to the field and exhibit, I think we’ll get results out of it.”
